Our Mission: BAII is committed to taking off the shelf technology and applying it to the creation of those everyday business solutions that require elevated imagery at a cost that better reflects the smart and necessary decisions that businesses can leverage from.

Our Business:

Besides the imagery and engineering experience we also have retail and customer relationship experience - we have had the face to face interface that  sadly, our increasingly automated world seems to  be getting away from. 

After looking at what's wrong and more importantly, what's right about other methods of imagery collection we decided we would create a company that is:

• Highly responsive to customer needs
• Listening to how the customer envisioned using us as an asset
• Avoiding the less than satisfying 'pick a number' style phone service
• Giving the customer useful products they don't normally get:

1. Very highly detailed images not possible by airplane or satellite imaging
2. Images under a color or black and white format
3. Taking images in infrared when helpful
4. Create documentation photography at a revisit rate unmatched by any other method, at an affordability unapproachable any other way
5. Responsiveness that aerial and satellite imaging can't hope to match at a comfortable cost savings.

The founder, Michael Belt,  brings over 30 years of experience working for those organizations involved with  military intelligence, Department of Defense  agencies and now this project.

Born in upstate New York, Mike began his career with the US Army, working as an imagery analyst for over 20 years and following his service with a decade of  systems and test engineering.

A private pilot with aerial photo experience, his career includes crisis monitoring,  far east estimates, and preparation for space flight aboard the nation’s space shuttle system.

An avid sailor, Mike arrived in San Diego aboard his ketch - Taita Falcon, after leaving San Francisco on a nearly 3 day journey.

As business expands for BAII's Phase I - activities will lead to Phase II operations; an aerial imaging platform model. The inclusion of these operations will have a mapping capability with GIS applications for city planning, agricultural and environmental studies.

Phase III will include Phases I and II with increased aircraft and even greater mapping capabilities being added on -  along with an increased staff to meet the new demands.
